IoD membership is open to everyone – from aspiring directors to those with senior-level responsibilities. There are different categories depending on your experience and the services you need. The highest level of membership is a full/fellow member who represent the most experienced and accomplished individuals in the field of governance. Typically this requires extensive experience, a proven track record in governance roles, and often advanced qualifications in the two courses in Essential of Directorship and Advanced Directorship Certification Course offered by the Institute.
For individuals who have an interest in governance or directorship but have not attained a certain level of experience and or qualifications in directorship. May be working closely with directors.
For individuals who meet the standard criteria and have a certain level of experience, qualifications, and engagement in governance activities.
An individual who is already a member of the Institute and has achieved the highest level of membership status within the IoDK. They represent the most experienced and accomplished individuals in the field of governance.
